In Debt we meet Tax and Mia who have crossed paths more than once in life. Mia grew up with everything while Sil had to fight for every mouthful of food until one days turn of events changed the course of his life forever. Will the debt ever be repaid ? Will Mia and Tax find a way through together? Or will the hand that life dealt them define them each as individuals.
We start the story in the distant past and throughout the book flip between past events and current day, this is done very cleverly without affecting the flow of the plotline. The connection between the reader and characters is strong and i felt absorbed by each character.
